We have had a lot of rumors till now about Apple making TVs. A lot of people seem to be wanting to get another Apple-branded product into their living rooms and bedrooms, along with their iPhone, iPod, and iPad, also Apple TV. We have had a all kinds of rumors, ranging from integrated Siri support, App Store coming with the TV with apps made specifically for Apple’s TV, and iCloud support built right in so that you can stream all your music on it from the internet.
But now, Smarthouse, an Australia based tech site, has come up with some really new and interesting news about Apple TV. It says that the Cupertino giant will be releasing the Apple in three sizes, starting from 32 inches to 55 inches, and that you can expect the TV to be out by holidays next year.
“The Apple TVs will incorporate a new processor that is set to appear in the iPad 3, which is due midway through 2012. A totally new software interface has been written that allows users to call up programs using voice commands via the new Siri personal assistant app built in the ipad, iPhone and directly into the TV.
Sources at a major Japanese company who are involved in manufacturing the TV believe that the 55″ model will compete with new Smart TVs from Samsung and LG that will have new processor built in while offering a combination of OLED display, as well as new Super HD TV technology from LG.”
The authenticity of this source is a doubt to many on the internet and in the tech world. But the involvement of the new quad core A6 processor, as found in the rumors of iPad 3, is pretty interesting. Apple’s TV is going to be pretty powerful if all this turns out to be true.
